Photomanipulations

How I see the world has always been a bit different. Or perhaps only recently? I've caught myself noticing shapes - animals, people, silhouettes, cityscapes, etc. - anywhere where there are patterns, lines, or seemingly random splashes of colour or signs of decay. Peeled paint, wallpaper, clouds, folded fabric... My attention is simply drawn there and my imagination flies. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then perhaps the photos below help bring clarity.

Peeled paint on an old bathroom floor, that was just waiting to spread its wings and fly. By the way, owls are known to bring messages of wisdom :)
A tiny piece of smoking Palo Santo wood in a burnt tea candle base. This time I used oil pastels - and they leave a mark :)
